Our Association Praised as “First-Rate Organization” by the Ministry of the Interior at the 102nd Annual National Performance Evaluation of Social and Professional Organizations

Thanks to the leadership, guidance, and supervision of its presiding guru, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche, the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Cultural Exchange Association was awarded the title of “First-Rate Organization” by the Ministry of the Interior at the 102nd Annual National Performance Evaluation of Social and Professional Organizations. A total of 13,604 organizations were judged, and three levels of classification were given out by the evaluation panel: “First-Rate,” “A-Grade,” and “B-Grade.” This time the Association was again awarded the most honorable title of “First-Rate Organization” among all the social organizations. continue reading »

His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche Allocates NT$3 Million from the Special Donation Account with the Ministry of Health and Welfare to Assist with Reconstruction and Living Costs for Kaohsiung Disaster Victims

Unable to bear seeing sentient beings suffer, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche has held the Great Indiscriminate Amitabha Puja for Transferring Consciousness and the Grand Memorial Puja for Lord Jigten Sumgön annually in Taiwan since 2005 and 2011, respectively. A total of more than 160,000 people have attended. Upon the perfect completion of each puja, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche has donated the proceeds to the Social Affairs Administration of the Ministry of the Interior (which has now been moved into the Ministry of Health and Welfare) to serve as social welfare charity to help people in need. Since 2005, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche has donated a total of more than NT$58,830,000.
