Announcement of His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche’s Upcoming Trip to Japan to Preside over an Auspicious Puja
On August 16th, 2015, His Eminence Vajra Guru Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche will preside over an auspicious puja at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan. Participants will include disciples and believers from both Japan and from the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Taiwan.
Ever since its consecration in May of 2008, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche has held annual pujas at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto to benefit all sentient beings with the pure Dharma during the Daimonji Festival, a solemn day in Japan for commemorating one’s ancestors.
“In this Age of Degenerate Dharma, sentient beings lack good fortune and are burdened with heavy karma. With great wisdom, overflowing compassion, boundless bodhicitta, and a profound understanding of their needs, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche draws from the Dharma to give far-reaching and apposite assistance to sentient beings. In this way the guru is able to help us eliminate the hindrances to our Buddhist practice, accumulate the resources necessary to continue our cultivation, and become liberated from the suffering sea of reincarnation so that we, too, can benefit all sentient beings. If all can attend this puja with faith and respect in their hearts, as well as an aspiration to help sentient beings leave their suffering, then the good fortune, wisdom, and longevity of their Buddhist practice are sure to be increased, and peace and harmony will abound.
His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche’s constant promotion of the Dharma throughout Japan has provided that nation, as well as the entire world, with unfathomable blessings, and has benefited countless sentient beings in the Six Realms. It has also brought about a gradual understanding and acceptance there of the Right Dharma, giving Japan and its people an opportunity to receive protection of the highest merits from Buddhism.
