Amitabha’s Puja for Transferring Consciousness, 2007
For the third time, H. E. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche presided at “The Great Unlimited Amitabha Puja for Transferring Consciousness” at the Taipei Arena on September 9, 2007 (Sunday). 12,000 people, including the monks and nuns from both esoteric and exoteric Buddhism, the mantrikas, the khenpos, the lamas and many from different corners of the world, attended this great and precious puja. Upon completion of the puja, in an effort to provide funding for social welfare and assistance for the needed, Rinpoche donated NT$ 4,896,905, which inculded all the contributions received from the believers and his personal offering, to the Ministry of Interior.
The puja was attended by over 12,000 believers, including the monks and nuns from both esoteric and exoteric Buddhism, the mantrikas, the khenpos, the lamas and many from different corners of the world.

Rinpoche introduced Buddhism with his vast wisdom and comprehensive speech, unveiling the greatness and ingenuity of the Buddhist doctrine to the general audience.

Two days before the great puja, which had been planned for over a year, lots of volunteers from the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center were devoted to the on-site preparations.

Prior to the 2007 great unlimited Amitabha puja for transferring consciousness, the red carpet was covered with a cloth printed with the 8 auspicious symbols for the entrance of H.E. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche.
