Amitabha’s Puja for Transferring Consciousness, 2006
On August 13, 2006, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche himself presided at “The Great Unlimited Amitabha Puja for Transferring Consciousness” at the Taipei Arena. More than 10,000 people attended this great puja, which was solemnly and perfectly completed. Numerous sentient beings in the universe were relieved from their suffering and the attendees were blessed with precious teachings. After the puja, in an effort to provide funding for social welfare and assistance for the needed, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche donated over NT$4,680,000 to the Ministry of Interior.
All the believers attended the puja with undivided attention.

Selected at random, one thousand attendees took turns lighting the lamps on behalf of all.

Two days before the great puja, volunteers from the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center were devoted to the on-site preparations.
Namgyal Khenpo traveled from Yunnan to Taiwan in order to provide necessary assistance to the preparations of the great puja. He had been giving on-site instructions for the arrangement within the venue and conducting rehearsals since two days prior to the puja.
Ingenious teachings from Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche revealed his vast wisdom.
A terma puja with attendees more than 10,000 is extremely rare.
