Amitabha’s Puja for Transferring Consciousness, 2005
On September 4, 2005, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche presided at “The Great Unlimited Amitabha Puja for Transferring Consciousness.” The puja was attended by 5,000 believers, including 28 geshes, khenpos and lamas from other lineages, showing up of their own accord. After the puja, Rinpoche donated approximate NTD 4,520,000 to the charities affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, including Rinpoche’s personal offering of NTD 1,000,000 and the contributions from the attendees, about NTD 3,520,000 in sum.
