On His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche’s Upcoming Trip to Japan to Preside over the Amitayus Puja

On December 22nd, 2013, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche will preside over the auspicious Amitayus Puja at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan. Participants will include Japanese disciples and believers as well as disciples and believers from the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Taiwan.

His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche once stated that the Amitayus Dharma is Tantra, and is only practiced within Tibetan Tantric Buddhism. The Amitayus can help to eliminate all untimely deaths, and can provide something to depend on for suffering sentient beings who might otherwise have no Dharma on which to rely. People who have participated in the Amitayus Puja will not undergo any unfortunate accidents, and whenever they are in distress, they will be able to find help. Committing evil acts causes one’s lifespan to be wasted, shortened, destroyed, fractured, shaken, or stolen away by ghosts and deities; the Amitayus Puja can replenish one’s longevity and cause one to obtain wealth and good health. It can also help to extend one’s wisdom life in practicing Buddhism.

On May 29th, 2008, when His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang accepted Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche’s invitation to visit the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan to preside over its consecration ceremony, the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang specially bestowed upon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche a statue of Amitayus Buddha brought from the holy mountain of Lapchi in Nepal, symbolizing Amitayus Buddha’s arrival. Moreover, the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto is a pure Buddhist Center, an auspicious location in which to perform the Dharma; from this it can be inferred that the Amitayus performed at the Kyoto Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center will have unfathomable blessings. Therefore, being able to possess sufficient causal condition to participate in the auspicious Amitayus Puja to be presided over by His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan is an extremely rare and precious opportunity.

Since the Kyoto Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center’s consecration ceremony in 2008, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche has presided over the auspicious puja there annually at either the beginning or the end of each year, helping countless sentient beings to unlock and accumulate the wondrous virtuous affinity to practice Buddhism. Any attendees that possess sufficient faith and respect, who pray to eliminate the hindrances to practicing Buddhism and extend their wisdom life in practicing Buddhism, and who participate in the puja with the intention of doing so on behalf of all sentient beings, can certainly increase their longevity, merits, and good fortune with which to practice Buddhism, and can obtain peace and harmony as well.
