His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche Presided over the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha Puja in the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Monastery to Perfect Completion.

On May 11th, 2025, the Founding Abbot Guru His Eminence Vajra Guru Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche presided over the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha Puja at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Monastery, leading the assembly in the recitation of the Ksitigarbha Dhāraṇī Sutra, helping sentient beings form a fate with Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, cultivate correct Buddhist understanding, and eliminate obstacles to Dharma practice. Rinpoche expounded that the Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha’s Fundamental Vows is also a sutra on filial piety. By cultivating according to the teachings of the sutra and the instructions of the guru, one can continuously practice so that parents of past, present, and future lifetimes will be liberated from the reincarnation’s sea of suffering. This is the truest form of filial devotion.

During the puja, Rinpoche instructed the assembly to kneel with hands joined together, each holding a utpala, to respectfully welcome Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha’s presence in the mandala, and to offer khatas to the Thangka of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha. While performing the Dharma, Rinpoche’s Dharma appearance was majestic; at one point, he raised his brows and opened his eyes wide, manifesting a furious appearance, yet within his piercing gaze, there still radiated boundless compassion. As Rinpoche chanted mantras, his body emitted dazzling golden light. The space was filled with wondrous fragrance, and from the sky came the subtle, crisp sounds of the staff striking the ground and the clinking sounds of keyūra. The ground is shaking. The puja was in incomparably wondrously pure and perfect completion, its merits widely benefiting limitless sentient beings.
