Perfect Completion of The Lion’s Roar Avalokiteshvara (Simhanada Avalokiteshvara) Puja Commemorating the 17thAnniversary of the Consecration of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan.

On June 28th, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche presided over the Memorial Puja commemorating the 17thanniversary of the Consecration of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan, bestowing the Lion’s Roar Avalokiteshvara Empowerment for the first time, which benefited countless sentient beings.
At 7:30 AM, Rinpoche ascended the Dharma throne at the Buddhist Center to preside over the preparatory Dharma. Before the puja began in the afternoon, Rinpoche compassionately received and guided local Japanese believers and Mainland Chinese disciples. From 2:10 PM, when the puja began, until perfect completion at 4:30 PM, Rinpoche did not rest at all for nearly nine hours, which demonstrates that a great practitioner of the Bodhisattva Path is not fatigued by acts of benefiting sentient beings.
When the puja began, as Rinpoche stepped onto the mandala and prostrated to the various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, His Eminence’s body radiated with light while the various holy statues shined with brilliance, which shows that Rinpoche’s compassionate vow powers are in attainment with the various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. During the puja, Rinpoche’s body emitted a golden light and the mandala shined like a golden palace while Rinpoche manifested the wrathful appearance in attainment with the yidam; the vajra was mighty and powerful, and Rinpoche’s Dharma voice was low and deep like thunder, meanwhile, the ground shook. All was incomparably wondrous and incredible.
Rinpoche compassionately taught the attendees how to visualize and bestowed the body, speech, mind, and dolma empowerments, and led everyone in reciting the Lion’s Roar Avalokiteshvara heart mantra to purify the attendees’ accumulated habits and defilements, eliminate illnesses and karmic obstacles, and temporarily cease the unfavorable fate and obstacles against cultivation. Some attendees smelt incomparably miraculous fragrances while others felt the ground shake and their bodies grow warm, the blessings were incredible. All attendees received the guru’s vast powers of compassion and blessings, which moved many to grateful tears and praises.
This puja was attended by a total of 126 people, including disciples from Japan, Mainland China and Taiwan.
