His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche Presided Over the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara Puja at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Monastery to Perfect Completion
On June 8, 2025, the Founding Abbot Guru, His Eminence Vajra Guru Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche, presided over the incomparably wondrous Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara Puja at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Monastery. With the incomparably wondrous capability of gaining a fruition level through Vajrayana practice’s attainment, Rinpoche expounded the Avalokiteshvara Universal Gate Chapter and the Outer Cultivation of Great Compassionate Avalokitesvara — Cultivation of Maitri Vilualizing, and led the assembly in the practice of the Mani Dedication Prayer of Great Joy on Rapid Enlightenment, helping sentient beings to form a fate with Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, planting good fortune, merits, and the destiny for rebirth in the Pure Land in the future.
At 10 am, with the leading and respectful welcome of the dhavja and patākā, the monastics, the Eight Offering Girls, the sitātapatra, the musical instruments, and the incense, Rinpoche walked along a white Eight Auspicious Symbols carpet strewn with fresh flower petals, then entered the Mahavira Hall of the Monastery. In the solemn sound of music, the attendees stood respectfully with hands joined together, reverently welcoming Rinpoche ascending the Dharma throne. Rinpoche stepped onto the mandala, making prostrations to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and bowed deeply before the sacred statue of the Bodhisattva Four-Armed Avalokiteshvara, and the statue immediately emitted radiant light, manifesting the compassionate power of Rinpoche rescuing sentient beings that reach attainment with the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
During the puja, Rinpoche personally demonstrated how to chant the mantra, allowing the assembly to receive incomparably wondrous blessings, and deep peace and serenity of body and mind. With heartfelt earnestness, Rinpoche exhorted everyone to learn Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara’s impartial compassion mind, upholding vegetarianism and virtuous deeds, and dedicating all positive karma to every sentient being and the Drikung Kagyu lineage. The assembly gratefully received Rinpoche’s precious teachings with joy, faith, and devotion, and resolved to put them into practice.
