The Ksitigarbha Blessing Puja at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center, Kyoto, Japan, August 16th, 2013
On August 16th, 2013, His Eminence Vajra Guru Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche presided over the auspicious Ksitigarbha Blessing Puja at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan. There were 141 attendees in total, including twenty believers from Japan, Spain, and Taiwan, as well as 121 Japanese and Taiwanese disciples, participating in this extremely precious and rare puja. The Dharma for this puja includes Charyayoga (Performance Tantra) and Kriyayoga (Action Tantra) with especially auspicious blessing-power. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche also gave detailed teachings on the origin of the Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha’s Fundamental Vows and the essence and true meanings of each chapter. It was to help attendees to form a deep affinity with Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha and be able to have the future opportunity to obtain the Bodhisattva’s help so that they would not fall into Evil Realms.

His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche started performing the Dharma method of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha. This Dharma method must first be cultivated by the practitioner performing it so that he or she would be no different from Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha.
His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche implored for Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha to approach the mandala and to bestow help upon everyone. The guru also praised and illustrated the merits and undertakings of the Bodhisattva, and purified attendees’ body, speech and mind.

Through an interpreter, a foreign believer was also able to clearly understand the precious Dharma teachings of His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche.

His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche performed the Dharma to a perfect completion. In Tibetan regions, this Dharma usually takes an entire day to perform. Employing great, unfathomable meditative powers, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche was able to bring it to a perfect completion in just over three hours' time, using pure Dharma to benefit all sentient beings, and propagating the Drikung Kagyu Dharma lineage so that it would flourish and be spread far and wide in Japan.
On the day of the puja the sky was clear. After His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche ascended the Dharma throne, a cool drizzle of sweet nectar rain began to fall from the sky. While the puja was underway, thunder rumbled continuously through the heavens; upon the perfect completion of the puja, however, the sky became clear and bright once more. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche used pure Dharma nectar and great, awe-inspiring, all-embracing power to benefit countless sentient beings as all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Dharma protectors came forth to show their protection, blessings and praises.
