The Long Life Mandala Offering Puja was held on February 24th and 25th, 2013, in Jangchubling Monastery, Dehra Dun, India
On February 24th and 25th, 2013, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche specially led 204 disciples of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center to Jangchubling Monastery in Dehra Dun, India, to participate in the Long Life Mandala Offering Puja held for His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang and to seek the audience of His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang on February 24th. At the Long Life Puja, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led the Glorious Jewel disciples to present the Long Life mandala and to make offerings of the precious lapis lazuli Shakyamuni bowl. This Long Life Puja spanned a period of 10 days, from February 15th through February 25th, 2013. It originated on July 23rd, 2012, on the occasion of the birthday celebration of His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche presided over the Amitayus Puja and led more than 1,000 Glorious Jewel disciples in Taipei in chanting the Amitayus Mantra continuously for 24 hours to pray for long life of His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang . As the puja had its origination at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led disciples from Taipei to India for the last two days of the puja, symbolizing that the origination and the completion of the puja were auspicious and perfect, and that His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang would remain in the world forever in the form of the Blissful Vajra to bring peace and happiness to innumerable sentient beings.
On February 23rd, as His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche's plane was landing in Dehra Dun, an extraordinarily auspicious rainbow appeared. As it swept down through the haze, the layers of clouds gradually scattered and sunlight burst through to shine brilliantly upon the land.
It was almost evening by the time His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche arrived at the hotel, where an extremely large photograph of the guru had been put on display. It was there to welcome His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche and to show the great respect and esteem the locals felt for the guru.
On February 24th, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led the disciples to seek the audience of His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang.
After instructing the disciples to form a line and enter in an orderly fashion, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche sat to His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang's left and personally directed the disciples as they approached one by one.
Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche instructed the disciples to greet His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, whereupon they said a reverent hello in unison.
Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche respectfully presented the Drikung Dharma Practice, the Dharma text brought all the way from Taiwan, to His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, and implored His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang to orally transmit The Sutra of Recollection of Three Jewels.
Extremely pleased, His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang stated that the copy of Drikung Dharma Practice in his hands was a Dharma text that had been presented by Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche and compiled by Khenpo Namdol. His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang consented to orally transmit The Sutra of Recollection of Three Jewels.

The disciples held their hands together in reverence as they received His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang's oral transmission of the Dharma. They were grateful to Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche for having created this rare and auspicious virtuous condition for them.
After transmitting the Dharma, His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang told everyone that it would be very good if they were to recite this sutra daily.

Lama Dawang, one of the organizers of the puja, greeted Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche with respect at the entrance to Jangchubling Monastery.

On July 23rd, 2012, Lama Dawang had participated in the 24-hour recitation of the Amitayus Mantra during the Amitayus Puja that was held for His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang by the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center.

On February 25th, the magnificent Mandala Offering was performed for His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche formed the Glorious Jewel disciples into a line to greet His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang as the great guru arrived.

The great flag of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center was hoisted, giving the presentation a majestic and stately atmosphere.

The lapis lazuli Shakyamuni bowl presented by Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche to the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang was cut from thirty-five kilograms of lapis lazuli and was priceless beyond compare. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche had filled it with precious pearls, red coral, and ten taels of gold, symbolizing the resources of Buddhism, indicating that all of the Dharma lineages were embodied by His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, and signifying that Buddhism shall flourish eternally.

Upon the auspicious and perfect completion of the ten-day Long Life Puja, His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang left the venue. May His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang continue to enjoy good health, keep turning the Dharma wheel, and keep spreading the Dharma far and wide, and may the flags of Drikung Kagyu Order fly across all five continents.
