The Amitayus Puja at the Taipei Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center July 23, 2012 – July 24, 2012
July 23, 2012 was the birthday of His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang. His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche presided over the auspicious Amitayus Puja at the Taipei Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center, and led 1,011 disciples in chanting the Amitayus Mantra for 24 consecutive hours as offerings to His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, praying that His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang has eternal presence in the world and his Dharma activities spread far and wide.
On July 23, the birthday of His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, the disciples of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center were led by Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche in chanting the Amitayus Mantra for 24 consecutive hours as offerings to His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang.
Upon ascending to the Dharma throne, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche gave auspicious teachings to the attendees.

On the morning of July 24, shortly after the sun rose, it started to shed highly unusual and very strong dazzling light.
Then there appeared an auspicious sign in the form of rare red halo around the sun, signifying that the heavenly Dharma protectors were praising the auspiciousness of the Puja and the utmost reverence of Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche in making offerings to His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang.
