A Puja was held in the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan, in which both the Chod and the Amitayus Dharma were performed on December 31, 2011, as well as a ceremony commemorating the official release of the Lung Tripitaka on January 1, 2012.
His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche presided over the Puja performing both the auspicious Chod and the Amitayus Dharma in the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center, Kyoto, Japan on December 31, 2011, with 200 attendees, including 17 Japanese dignitaries, 173 Japanese and Taiwanese disciples, as well as 10 believers from Taiwan. On January 1, 2012, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche also led more than 30 disciples of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in an opening ceremony commemorating the release of the precious Lung Tripitaka, which was put on display on the mandala and blessed with purification through mantra chanting in the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center, Kyoto, Japan.
On December 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., believers from Japan and Taiwan, as well as disciples of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Centers of both countries entering the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto to attend the puja to be presided over by His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche, in which both the auspicious Chod and Amitayus Dharma will be performed by the guru.

On display on the mandala are the Lung Tripitaka, reprinted from the Lung Tripitaka of the era of Emperor Kangxi. The successful reprinting of this precious Lung Tripitaka was an effort on the part of His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche to fulfill the vow of the three grace root guru His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang to see it reprinted, after enormous amount of money and effort have been dedicated to it.
