2010 Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche conducts disciples to practice retreat for the second time
On March 20, 2010, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led 13 disciples to travel to India from Taipei. As it was Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche’s 11th retreat, it was also the second time that Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche had his disciples practice retreat under his guidance.
Upon arriving at Jangchubling, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche leads the disciples at once to see His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche, and makes scarf offering. His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche bestows forehead-to-forehead blessings upon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche.
Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche makes big offerings towards root Guru His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche.
Disciples of Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center make prostration towards His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche.
His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche grants blessing to the disciples of the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center with a Buddhist statue and wishes everyone a successful and perfect retreat.
Upon completing the retreat, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche leads disciples to have an audience with his root Guru His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche again. His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche personally bestows upon each disciple a statue of Jigten Sumgon, the founder of Drikung Kagyu tradition, and a scarf.
His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche holds Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche’s cheeks with his hands, bestowing forehead-to-forehead blessings upon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche.
On April 4, 2010, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche is greeted to the venue by disciples of Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center and believers for Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche’s perfect completion of the 11th retreat in Jangchubling.
His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche made prostration to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the mandala.
His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche makes scarf offering to His Holiness’ throne with devoted reverence.
