On Feb 20, 2010, the His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche will conduct Jambala pujas at the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center, Kyoto, Japan. In the morning session, the puja of “Black Water Jambhala Dharma” will be performed, while in the afternoon session the puja of “Elephant Jambhala Dharma” will be performed.
The “Black Water Jambhala Dharma” which Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche will perform is the Terma Dharma from Guru Rinpoche—-Padmasambhava, the founder of Tibetan Esoteric Buddhism. By performing this Dharma, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche hope to help to alleviate attendees’ suffering of poverty, eliminate their obstacles so as to earn deserved wealth. Furthermore, they will be able to do virtuous deeds to benefit others, the country, and the society. To achieve accordance with the yidam of Jambhala Dharma, the practitioner must be endowed with great mercy and compassion of void of nature, and attain accomplishment of Avalokiteshvara Practice.
The “Elephant Jambhala Dharma” which Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche will perform is imparted from Yunga Rinpoche himself, a Drikung’s great Rinpoche, to Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche. Knowing that it is not easy for people to earn money in the modern world, Yunga Rinpoche especially transmitted this dharma to be practiced in today’s business society. If the attendees develop the mind of making virtuous deeds, the puja will help them make much money.
Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche has ever enlightened that “The practice of Jambhala Dharma could indeed help people obtain fortune. But the fortune it is not used to enjoy, rather is used to practice and learn Budhha dharma. Sentient beings might not be able to earn their deserved fortune due to the obstacles caused by their doing evils. However, it is impossible to practice and learn Buddha Dharma without accumulation, so the conduction of Jambhala Dharma is to help people eliminate their karmas and obstacles and let them obtain their deserved fortune to practice and learn Buddha Dharma in ease.”
