In Oct. end 2007, the His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led more than 50 disciples to join the inauguration of “Drikung Kagyu Rinchen Palri Monastery” in Kathmandu, Nepal. This monastery was constructed by Drubpon Sonam Jorphel Rinpoche, the Spiritual Director of the Drikung Kagyu Dharmaraja Foundation (DKDF), since many years ago. The inauguration was held on 1st Nov., and His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche was invited to conduct the puja. More than 10 respectable rinpoches of Drikung Kagyu lineage celebrated together. This ceremony consisted of the puja conducted by His Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, gratitude speech, exhibition of great Tangka, Vajra dance and a serial of traditional culture performed by different clans from Ladakh and Nepal.
