At the end of February of year 2007, the His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led 200 disciples to northern India and conducted a puja to transmit Avalokiteshvara ritual in Jalandhar, the main city of state of Punjab, and the Great Amhitaba Puja for Transferring Consciousness in Gurgoan nearby New Delhi, by request of Indian Sikh. 700 people attended the Avalokiteshvara puja on February 25, which is an extraordinary and rare event since that except for Sakyamuni Buddha this is the first time that a varja master propagated Tibetan Buddhism to Sikh region with such a large scale. All attendees dressed up in their best costumes and paid undivided attention and utmost reverence throughout the entire puja. In the meantime, His Holiness held another puja in India and especially dispatched a person to bring his own chattra (jeweled parasol) for Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche to use while entering. His Holiness and Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche holding pujas in different places at the same time means they have the communion of heart with heart all along. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche blessed each attendee one by one in person after the puja and the attendees lined up neatly and received the blessing with respect. There was no propaganda through any media or any posters but merely through oral propagation and all the attendees voluntarily came to attend the puja. The Sikh elder felt incredible by seeing this extraordinary scene and highly praised Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche for his great power of taking in the mass and of blessing.

Rinpoche was as well invited by the Sikh elder to the best and biggest hospital in that area to bless. All of the medical personnel including nurses and doctors led by the Sikh elder (the Superintendent of the hospital) respectfully lined up and welcomed Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche with fresh flowers. Rinpoche went to each examination room including laboratories, CAT scan rooms, X-ray rooms, electro-cardiograph rooms, biochemistry and blood test rooms, and bone mineral density measurement rooms, to bless, and also went to the operation room and the mortuary with dead bodies lying in the refrigerator and Rinpoche stayed there and blessed for a long time. After blessing, Rinpoche revealed “Their mind were full of hatred and resentment” Rinpoche also went to the dialysis room to bless the patients, one of a female patient cried out in pain unceasingly, but after receiving Rinpoche’s blessing, she stopped crying out and breathed gently, turning her sorrowful face into peaceful. Rinpoche went to the general wards, the intensive care unit, and every corner of hospital to give his blessing to the patients. Before entering the intensive care unit, he especially told the disciples not to touch anything because the germs there were very special. However, Rinpoche did not care about the risk of being infected himself but directly touched the patients with ritual instrument to bless, showing the Bodhi’s way of benefiting sentient beings regardless of personal safety. The Superintendent also invited Rinpoche to the various prayer rooms in the hospital to bless, including Catholicism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism. Rinpoche didn’t say no to seekers of help, and also comforted to the local customs to wear a orange headscarf in the Sikh Prayer Room. He prayed “If your god is a good god, please let your disciples accept Buddhism” There was a soiree on that day evening, and there was originally no arrangement for the address by Rinpoche, but due to his praying in the Sikh prayer room, the Sikh elder suddenly went up to the stage and made a loud appeal to Rinpoche for guiding them with Buddhism and asked him to propagate Buddhism there twice per year! At the end of the soiree, the guest reverently invited Rinpoche to give a speech on the stage. Rinpoche addressed the masses in beautiful, perfect and noble British English, and brought to the end by saying “Whoever you are, wherever you are, I will be with you as long as you need me.” After the address, the guests requested for blessing, enlightening and taking picture to keep the memory. Then, Rinpoche had not yet had principal meals all day long, but still blessed for each prayer one by one. The vice president of M.G.N School Foundation was so considerate of Rinpoche’s fatigue and spoke to Rinpoche “If Rinpoche is not leaving, all the city residents will come here” Rinpoche smiled mercifully and said lightly “This is my job” There was one old lady aching all over and even could not stand by herself. All the doctors she had seen were unable to cure her sickness. Rinpoche blessed her and revealed “The caused reason for her disease was when at the age of 35, she moved a square stone veneer in an old India temple and hurt some beings such as scorpions behind it. Only Buddhism can help her.” The great compassion and wisdom of Rinpoche convinced all the political and business celebrities and journalists. All the attendees felt a heartfelt admiration for Rinpoche, highly praised for his merits and virtue. They respectfully knelt on the ground and prayed for blessing. “There is nothing Rinpoche does not know; he is omniscient; his great wisdom goes above and beyond the Encyclopedia Britannica.” said the vice president of M.G.N School Foundation.

During the journey, Rinpoche was invited to a Sikh’s home to give his blessings. The Sikh’s father died after falling from the second floor. Rinpoche told the Sikh that his father had been cursed to death and the soul was still in the house. Straightly sitting in the living room, Rinpoche successively represented the wrathful appearances twice, with eyeballs protruding, tails of eyes rising, corners of mouth widening outward and lifting upward, growling like a lion. The second wrathful appearance was even more furious than the first one. Rinpoche revealed “Because the ghost is very ferocious and unwilling to leave, I represented wrath again to subdue it and transfer its consciousness. Wrathful appearance is the manifestation of the greatest compassion.” “The Deva realm is under Rinpoche’s control.”

On Feb.27, Rinpoche went to a grange to hold “the Great Amitabha Puja for Transferring Consciousness” by request of the well-known chief justice Mr. Sudi and his wife. The puja was originated in Oct. 2006, after finishing the speech in M.G.N. school, Rinpoche returned to New Delhi and went to the grange to make consecration to an ancient stone-carved Buddha Amitabha statue, requested by Mr. and Mrs. Sudi. Right after the consecration ceremony, Rinpoche prostrated towards the statue and then said ”On finishing prostration towards the statue, Buddha Amitabha is then drawn into the stone-carved statue “Afterward, Rinpoche led the attendees to recite the Amitabha mantra and chose a location and direction to replace the Buddha statue respectfully, “There are many sentient beings surrounding the farm. The Buddha statue can benefit countless beings here and in the void, besides, it is also very good for this place” Rinpoche said. Normally it takes around one day to complete “the Great Amitabha Puja for Transferring Consciousness” in Tibet; nevertheless, Rinpoche perfected it in three and a half hours through his power of profound meditation, in order to guide and transform the local people in an expedient way. All attendees were joyful; at the same time, Rinpoche hopes Buddhism could take root here by this time and will be thriving, benefiting more sentient beings.

In the two pujas, Rinpoche helped countless sentient beings with his power of awe-inspiring, and all the people there were so much touched. Rinpoche has always sacrificed his rest and dining to help the ill and to interview the believers, giving them blessings and enlightening. Although it was their first time to meet Rinpoche or to attend a Buddhist puja, the attendees expressed their greatest joy, utmost reverence and total submission by touching Rinpoche’s feet with their forehead.
