A regular puja was held. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche gave the teachings that the focus of learning Buddhism is to learn how to control one’s own heart and to learn about the way how Buddhas and Bodhisattvas make vows, so as to liberate oneself from the cycle of existence. Furthermore, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche explained the importance of the preliminaries and the transference of merits to the dharma practices. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche also continue the teachings about the importance of Vajrasattva.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche enlightened believers on Buddhism and helped them to relieve all kinds of suffering in the world at Glorious Jewel Company. Besides, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche conducted the Phowa Dharma for a believer who just passed away. Many auspicious signs of the perfect completion of the Phowa Dharma as described in the tantra were presented on the body that was far away in the hospital. There was a round and depressed appearence on the crown of the head where it was warm, the entire body was soft all over, \u2026etc. The dead met Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche for leukemia 5 years ago. He had not accepted the help from Buddha dharma at that time because he did not believe in the cause and effect. 5 years after when his life was in danger, he met Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche again for help. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche enlightned the reason why the dead had such great merits to be transfered his consciousness to the pure land right after his death with the auspicous Phowa by Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche is he believed in cause and effect this time and also brought forth a great resolve for repentance .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

H. E. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche conducted the first Chod Puja in the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center in Kyoto, Japan at 5:30 pm. There were around 80 people attended this puja, including believers from Japan and disciples from Taiwan. This was the second Chod Puja by Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche in Japan after the first Chod held on the scenic railway in Kyoto in Dec. 2007. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche enshrined a statue of shakyamuni Buddha given by Yunga Rinpoche in the mandala and then enlightened: \u201cBoth in Japanese and Chinese customs, people venerate the spirit tablets and try to perform transference of their consciousness. However, only Buddhadharma could really help to transfer the consciousness of our ancestors to the pure land.\u201d After giving the enlightment about the rareness and auspiciousness of Chod puja, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche started to conduct Chod puja. After the teaching is completed, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche gave the blessings to the attendees with the ritual instrument made of a human tibia bone, and furthermore gave blessings to the attendees one by one with the statue of Lord Jigten Sumgon. That night was also the night of the important annual ancestor worship \u201cDaimonji Fire Festival\u201d in Kyoto. After the puja, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche invited the attendees to have dinner in the garden of venue and to view the characters depicted in fire lit on the slopes of mountains surrounded. When the fire lit burned out and the guests were leaving, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche still painstakingly continued to give blessings to the patients of serious disease in the venue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

A regular puja was held. The disciples listened reverently to the voice recording of dharma teachings of \u201cIssues of living and dying\u201d by Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche on May 2nd. 2000, which, from the Buddhist point of view, talked about the psychological and physical suffering during dying process, and correspondingly how auspicious the Phowa is.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

A regular puja was held at the venue. Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche gave teachings that \u201cTake upon oneself all the misdeeds and suffering of beings\u201d, the 18th practice of \u201cThe Thirty-Seven Practices of Bodhisattvas\u201d, is the implication of bodhisattvas\u2019 practice. Besides, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche also enlightened that the dharma without the \u201cFaith, Vows and Practice\u201d and \u201cPrecepts, Meditation and Wisdom\u201d is not the buddha dharma at all. Especially Faith and Precepts are of the fundamentals. It is necessary to accomplish the Buddhist mediation even for the practice of the Pure Land Buddhism, and also the practice of Ten Meritorious Acts\u00a0 is the basics of Pure Land Buddhism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche was in retreat for the upcoming \u201cThe Great Indiscriminated Amitabha\u2019s Puja for Transferring Consciousness\u201d of Aug. 31. Under Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche\u2019s instruction, all the disciples practiced the dharma of Achi Chokyi Drolma at the venue from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm to pray for her protection of the puja.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

In Taipei Arena, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche successively conducted the forth time\u2019s \u201cThe Great Indiscriminated Amitabha\u2019s Puja for Transferring Consciousness\u201d. There were more than 13,000 attendees, including 31 khenpos, lamas, and nuns from Drikung Kyagu, Drukpa kargyu, Nyingma, and Gelugpa lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, and 6 monks and nuns of Exoteric Buddhism, as well as people who especially came to attend by plane from Japan, the U.S., Canada, Holland, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, etc. Although there were numerous attendees in the arena, they all were solemn and reverent under the theopneusty of Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche for the entire conduction. Considering the toil of conduction upon the attendees, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche took the hardships and completed the auspicious dharma with marvelous mediation in three hours that usually took a whole day. After the completion of the conduction, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche enlightened about the importance of being a vegetarian and the patience needed to learn and study Buddhism. In the way of humor and wisdom, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche\u2019s enlightment resonated the attendees\u2019 heart. When Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche was leaving, all of the attendees stood up to continously applaud and bow to Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche, and shouted loudly \u201cThank You Rinpoche\u201d to show the gratitude to Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche for helping their ancestors, families and the karma\u2019s debtors, and the scene was very touching. Upon the completion of puja, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche contributed all offering from the attendees which was totally over NT$ 4,160,000 to the Ministry of Interior for social welfare, under the witness of a lawyer, an accountant, a bank representive, and an officier from the Ministry of the Interior. In the afternoon, Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led the disciples to conduct the dharma of Achi Chokyi Drolma at the venue to thank for her protection of the puja.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
