In September, 2011, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led 226 disciples of Glorious Jewel Buddhist Center travelling to Tibet and had an audience with His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chungtsang, who personally bestowed each disciple the blessings as well as an exquisite prayer scarf (Khata), a string of prayer beads, and silk paintings of Buddhist scenes (Thangkas). Furthermore, on September 18, His Eminence Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche led the disciples to the Drikung Thel Monastery and was heartedly greeted by the monastery lamas with most honorable hospitality.
