Prostrations to His Eminence Vajra Guru Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche, His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, Dharma Protector Achi, the Lineage gurus, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Greetings, fellow believers and Dharma brothers. I am Ong Jia Kang from Group Six, my Dharma name is Hui Wei Drolma, and I took refuge on January 11, 2003. The fate origin for my refuge was that my maternal grandfather was hospitalized for emphysema in 2002. At that time, Dr. Xie, a Dharma brother and my grandfather\u2019s attending physician, praised to my parents about the traces of Rinpoche liberating sentient beings. Thus, the whole family registered to seek an audience with Rinpoche, and we began attending the pujas together and subsequently took refuge. I am grateful to Rinpoche for bestowing upon me the opportunity to hereby share with you how Rinpoche has helped my mother, and to repent the evil karma I have committed.<\/p>\n
On the afternoon of October 16, 2025, my mother fainted at home due to weakness throughout her body. After being taken to the hospital emergency room for examination, she was found to have gastroenteritis, while the other indicators showed no abnormalities. That day, after she had an IV (drip) and received the medication at the hospital, she returned home to recuperate.

\nOn the morning of December 25, 2025, I suddenly heard an extremely loud crashing sound while asleep and immediately got up and went out of my room to check, finding my mother lying at the doorway of her room. I promptly went to her side, patted her, and called to her to check whether she was conscious. Only after I called her several times did my mother reply in a weak voice; my father and I then took my mother to the emergency room. I am grateful to Rinpoche for letting this happen only after I had finished attending the pujas at the Kyoto Buddhist Center in Japan and returned home, so that I was able to take my mother for medical treatment on time.

\nAfter examination in the emergency room, we found that my mother\u2019s red blood cell count was only 5.4, while her white blood cell count was over 30,000; the doctor told us that based on the current examination results, it was initially suspected to be blood cancer; the doctor required my mother to be hospitalized for a bone marrow examination, and asked us to be mentally prepared. On January 2, 2026, the doctor informed the whole family that my mother\u2019s examination results showed that she had acute leukemia, that this disease progressed very rapidly, and that she likely had only three to six months left. The doctor also asked whether my mother wanted chemotherapy or targeted drug treatment. After my mother refused these invasive treatments, she proceeded to complete the hospital discharge procedures.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, January 24, 2026, the whole family registered to seek an audience with Rinpoche at the Buddhist Center. Rinpoche asked, \u2018What is it?\u2019 My mother said, \u2018I was found to have acute leukemia in a hospital examination, with only three to six months left to live. I repent for my heavy karma of killing, having killed many sentient beings, and implore Rinpoche to transfer the consciousness of the sentient beings which were killed by me.\u2019 Rinpoche expounded to my mother, \u2018You have taken refuge for so many years. Didn\u2019t you write their names in the Chod Puja?\u2019 My mother answered, \u2018Yes.\u2019 Rinpoche expounded, ‘Then those who should receive consciousness transference have already received it. What else is it?\u2019 After my mother was too nervous to speak, the whole family was grateful to Rinpoche, and then stepped back. After returning home, my mother told the family members that the following Saturday she would go alone to seek an audience with the guru, because death was something she had to face by herself.

\nOn Saturday, January 31, 2026, my mother registered to seek an audience with Rinpoche alone. During the audience that day, Rinpoche asked, \u2018What is it?\u2019 My mother answered, \u2018I implore Rinpoche to help this disciple go to the Pure Land.\u2019 Rinpoche expounded, \u2018Wishful thinking,\u2019 and instructed the monastics to explain to my mother what kind of people can go to the Pure Land.<\/p>\n
After returning home, my mother continued receiving conditioning treatment at the Glorious Jewel Chinese Medicine Clinic and recuperated at home. Although she gradually became thinner and her physical strength fluctuated between good and poor, she was still able to move about on her own and manage her daily life independently. She did not look like a patient with end-stage blood cancer at all. I am grateful to Rinpoche!<\/p>\n
On March 3, 2026, my eldest sister returned home in the evening and found my mother weak all over her body, with a pale complexion and pale fingernails, and a very low body temperature. My eldest sister measured my mother\u2019s blood pressure, and found that it could not be measured, so she took my mother to the hospital emergency room to be admitted there. My mother began saying that her body felt very hot, but when we touched her skin, it was ice-cold. The three of us sisters told my mother, \u2018You are experiencing the disintegration of four major elements before death that Rinpoche has expounded,\u2019 and said to my mother that, \u2018Remember to be mindful of the guru. Do not worry, and we will take good care of ourselves.\u2019

\nOn the morning of March 4, 2026, my mother personally signed the \u2018Do Not Resuscitate consent form\u2019; In the afternoon, when we were about to help my mother change to another ward, my uncle, who was beside my mother, noticed that she seemed to be asleep but seemed somewhat motionless. He checked my mother\u2019s pulse and found that it had stopped, and immediately informed the nurse and doctor. At that time, my second elder sister and I were helping my mother to change to another ward when we saw Dr. Xie anxiously coming out of the ward to look for us. My second elder sister and I hurriedly placed the nectar pill bestowed by Rinpoche before into my mother\u2019s mouth, and then called the Glorious Jewel to report that my mother had just passed away and to implore Rinpoche to protect my mother\u2019s consciousness from falling into the Three Evil Realms. Six minutes later, I received a call back from a Dharma brother, who told me that Rinpoche had already protected my mother\u2019s consciousness and asked me to touch the top of my mother\u2019s head. I touched the top of my mother\u2019s head and found it warm, while her body was ice-cold. Even the relatives, nurse, and Dr. Xie who were there all said, \u2018It\u2019s incredible! How could your mother have passed away so peacefully?\u2019 I am grateful to Rinpoche!<\/p>\n
On the way to the funeral home, due to the bumpy road, my mother\u2019s brow was deeply furrowed when we arrived, and she looked extremely uncomfortable. Afterwards, the family members chanted the Great Six-Syllable Mantra beside my mother until the evening. We again received a call from a Dharma brother, asking us to look at my mother\u2019s face. At that moment, my mother\u2019s previously furrowed brow was relaxed, her mouth, which had been open, also closed, leaving only a slight gap, and there was even a faint smile at the corners of her mouth. I am grateful to Rinpoche!

\nOn March 7, 2026, the whole family registered to seek an audience with Rinpoche at the Buddhist Center. During the audience that day, Rinpoche expounded, \u2018What is it?\u2019 The three of us sisters answered, \u2018Our mother passed away peacefully in the hospital on March 4. We are grateful to Rinpoche for protecting our mother\u2019s consciousness. We implore Rinpoche to transfer our mother\u2019s consciousness and bestow a date for her cremation.\u2019I am grateful to Rinpoche for granting the transfer of my mother’s consciousness and bestowing the date for her cremation. For 18 years, my mother had been unable to make offerings to the guru and had been irreverent toward the guru. I am grateful to Rinpoche for bestowing upon me the opportunities to perform grand prostrations and work for the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Monastery of Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche, allowing me to accumulate fate and good fortune so that, after my mother passed away, I could immediately find Rinpoche, who protected my mother\u2019s consciousness, and transferred her consciousness. I am grateful to Rinpoche!<\/p>\n
On the morning of March 15, 2026, my mother\u2019s farewell ceremony proceeded all smoothly. After it ended, my father and I went to the Buddhist Center to attend the Chod Puja, while my two elder sisters accompanied my mother\u2019s body to the funeral home for cremation. After my mother\u2019s body was cremated, we found a smooth, small round hole in her skull. After seeing it, my uncle and aunt, who were besides there, also found it exceedingly incomparably wondrous and incredible. I am grateful to Rinpoche!<\/p>\n
On Saturday, April 4, 2026, the whole family went to the Buddhist Center to be grateful to Rinpoche and implore for making offerings to the guru on behalf of my mother. I am grateful to Rinpoche for accepting my mother\u2019s offering. Rinpoche expounded, \u2018Your mother had a short lifespan in this lifetime because she was irreverent toward the guru and the Three Jewels. However, because your mother came to repent when alive, Rinpoche still helped her not fall into the Three Evil Realms.\u2019 I am grateful to Rinpoche!

\nIf it were not for Rinpoche\u2019s continuously blessing us, I do not know how much suffering my mother would have endured from blood cancer, and the whole family would even have had to spend enormous amounts on medical expenses, time and energy caring for my mother because of her illness; If it were not for Rinpoche\u2019s unceasingly expounding of Buddha Dharma every week, I could never have let go of the suffering of being apart from a loved one, and accepted the impermanence of death. I am grateful to Rinpoche!

\nI repent that after taking refuge with my family in the sixth grade of elementary school, I repeatedly broke the precepts and failed to uphold the Five Precepts and the Ten Meritorious Acts. I repent for killing and harming ants, mosquitoes, and other insects. I repent for having worked at places where non-vegetarian food was sold. I repent that we once caught a rat at home, but because we failed to release it in time, we caused the rate to die. I repent for stealing money from my elders and taking property that did not belong to me. I repent that while being raised by my parents, I engaged in sexual relations and committed sexual misconduct. I repent for my strong sense of jealousy and comparison. I repent for being unwilling to make offerings and for being overly calculating. I repent for slacking off and being indolent, and repent that when having problems, I solely wanted to avoid them. I repent for being unfilial, talking back to my parents and being angry at them. I repent for once having thoughts of leaving the Buddhist Center and giving up learning Buddhism. I repent for all the evil karma I have committed from accumulated past lifetimes, and I now repent for all of it; I will accept and face all the resulting retributions and never commit it again.<\/p>\n
When I was in high school, my family\u2019s financial situation deteriorated, and we went bankrupt and were driven out by our landlord. I am grateful to Rinpoche and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for still allowing our whole family to have a place to live, food to eat, and clothes to wear. At that time, there were frequent arguments at home. My mother once said, \u2018If it were not because we needed to attend the pujas every Sunday and to return home to practice the Dharma Protector every day, this family would have fallen apart long ago.\u2019 I am grateful to Rinpoche!

\nI am grateful to Rinpoche for seeking no reward and thinking everything possible way to help me and sentient beings to accumulate fate and good fortune, and not to reincarnate by following our karma, and for transferring the consciousnesses of my mother as well as the elders in my family who were not vegetarian and didn\u2019t learn Buddhism. Rinpoche\u2019s boundless benevolence is impossible to repay through lifetime after lifetime. I will use a steadfast mind to follow Rinpoche to practice Buddha Dharma, act according to the teachings, and to vow to be liberated from reincarnation and reborn in Amitabha Buddha\u2019s Pure Land, in order to repay the benevolence of the guru, my parents, and sentient beings.<\/p>\n
I pray for His Eminence Vajra Guru Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche\u2019s good health, longevity, and auspiciousness; his Dharma wheel turns unceasingly; his Buddha Dharma activities flourish; the Glorious Jewel Buddhist Monastery of Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche is constructed perfectly and smoothly; Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche\u2019s Dharma lineage spreads eternally, benefiting all the sentient beings.
